Pow-P1
HAN-port reader for power meters with "P1 companion" interface
Used on smart meters with HAN-port according to DSMR P1 Companion Standard (with RJ12 connector).
Note 1: The term "P1 port" is in some mid-European countries used on power meters that deliver M-bus signal on pins 3 and 4 of an RJ12 socket, which is not "P1 companion". Those meters cannot use Pow-P1, the right product for those meters is Pow-U.
Note 2: The Pow-P1 does NOT work with the Kamstrup HAN-P1 adapter (used on Kamstrup Omnipower meters). Omnipower users should buy Pow-K.
Norwegian customers: P1-port is not used in Norway.

Pow-P1 connects to your local wifi, where it displays a web user interface page that can be opened from a device (PC, tablet, phone, ...) connected your internal Wi-Fi network.
If you chose an option without enclosure, you can 3D-print the enclosure yourself from downloadable STL files.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between "P1 port" and "P1 companion"?
Pow-P1 works with meters that follow the DSMR P1 Companion Standard (RJ12). In some European countries, "P1 port" is also used for meters that deliver M-bus on pins 3 and 4 of an RJ12 socket – those meters need Pow-U.
Does Pow-P1 work with the Kamstrup HAN-P1 adapter?
No. Kamstrup Omnipower users should buy Pow-K.
Can I use Pow-P1 in Norway?
No. The P1 port is not used on Norwegian meters. In Norway, choose Pow-K (Kamstrup Omnipower) or Pow-U (other meters with HAN-NVE interface).
Does Pow-P1 need a separate power supply?
No. Pow-P1 is powered from the meter (5 V, operating power 0.4 W).
Does Pow-P1 need a cloud service or an app?
No. Pow-P1 connects to your local Wi-Fi and has its own web interface. Data is sent locally via MQTT, with Home Assistant auto-discovery.
